What Glass is
Glass helps you understand documents. Paste a letter, a notice, or a form, and Glass explains it in plain words. It can show key dates, what the document asks for, and what usually happens next.
What Glass is not
Glass explains documents. It does not give legal, tax, or immigration advice.
Glass is not a law firm. Using Glass does not create an attorney-client relationship. Glass is also not an accountant, a tax adviser, or a government agency.
An explanation from Glass is a starting point, not a decision. Always check important deadlines and decisions with the office that sent your document, or with a qualified professional, before you act.
Explanations can contain mistakes
Glass uses AI to read and explain your document. AI can make mistakes. It can misread a date, a number, or a name. If something looks wrong, trust the original document, not the explanation.
Using the service
- Only paste documents you have the right to share.
- Do not use Glass to break the law or to harm others.
- We may change or stop parts of the service. If we do, we will try to tell you in advance.
Payments
Some features are paid, such as a one-time letter explanation. Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are handled by a payment provider; we never see your full card number. If you are not happy with a paid explanation, see our refund policy.
The service is provided as-is
Glass is provided “as is.” We do not promise that it will always be available, or that every explanation will be complete or correct. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on an explanation.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change is important, we will say so clearly on the site.
